Schmidt Wimbledon was the first full-size concept showroom in the UK, opening over 12 years ago and setting a benchmark for made-to-measure interior design. Since then, we have continued to evolve our approach, focusing not only on kitchen transformations but on creating beautifully considered spaces throughout the home.

Showroom Team

Graeme Freedman – Senior Designer

Graeme brings over 15 years of experience in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom (KBB) industry to the Wimbledon showroom, having previously worked with several prestigious and bespoke kitchen manufacturers. His appointment reinforces the showroom’s commitment to offering clients the highest quality expert advice and guidance. Graeme has a calm and methodical approach, ensuring that he not only designs amazing spaces but also makes sure they function effectively for clients and their families in their daily lives.

Alan Long – Head of Installations

Alan has been with the showroom for over 9 years. As the most seasoned SCHMiDT Installer in the UK, he has successfully completed the installation of more than 350 kitchens and home living solutions. Alan’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that he approaches and completes each kitchen project with the utmost care and precision, giving them the consideration and excellence they truly deserve.

Matthew McCardle – Senior Designer

Boasting an impressive 20 years of industry expertise, Matt contributes a wealth of knowledge to the showroom. His approach to each project is marked by a calm and considerate demeanor, placing full focus on not only discovering a distinctive design but also ensuring it aligns seamlessly with the everyday needs of the clients.

Aleksandra Cummings – Senior Designer

Aleksandra is an experienced interior designer with 14 years in residential design, including over 10 years specialising in kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. She studied Interior Design at KLC School of Design in London and has led the design and completion  of more than 250 projects. Her passion lies in how people feel and live in their spaces. With a strong eye for detail and a love for both creativity and functionality. Aleksandra’s thoughtful, holistic approach ensures every project is not only stylish, but truly works for the people who use it.
